Gossa Garedew

Gossa completed a master degree (M.Sc.) in Renewable Energy (specialization: Sustainable Energy Technology) at University of Jyvaskyla (Finland) in 2014. From the same country, he has also received his first degree (B.Eng.) in Environmental Engineering from Tampere University of Applied Sciences in 2011. He is currently doing his doctoral degree on ‘Synthetic biochemical pathways for efficient production of novel biofuels’ at Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Bio-sustainability, Technical University of Denmark.

His research experience up to date mainly focuses on renewable energy resource assessment, feasibility studies, efficiency development for sustainability, heat transfer in energy systems, energy use in buildings and environmental protection. He believes that green energy technology, combined with sustainable development, is regarded as a top priority due to greenhouse gas emissions, which will fully justify the need of using renewable energy
sources.
